Dr. A B Gopalamurugan is the well?recognized and best cardio specialist in interventional cardiology with more than 22 years of professional experience. His specialties include Cardiac Surgeries, Transcatheter Valve Therapies - TAVR, TMVR, TTVR, TPVI, Aortic Therapies, Structural Heart Disease Therapies, Cardiac Device Therapies, Heart Failure Therapies, Interventional Coronary Therapies, and Electrophysiological therapies. He is known to have performed four of the world's first transcatheter valve therapies. His educational qualifications included an MBBS from Annamalai Univ. and an MD (General Medicine) from the Univ. of London in 2006. He also received fellowships from the Royal Coll. of Physicians and later from the American Coll. of Cardiology. Besides clinical work, Dr. Murugan has served as very active in cardiology research. His 25 publications cover various aspects of interventional cardiology and advancements in this field. He is an active part of the General Medical Council (London), a a fellow of the Royal Coll. of Physicians ( London), a a fellow of the American Coll. of Cardiology, a a fellow of the British Cardiovascular Interventional Society (BCIS), a part of the UK European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA), member Europe Heart Rhythm Society (HRS), part of Indian Medical Council, and India Maharashtra Medical Council.
