Dr. Abhishek Agrawal is a well?recognized Surgical Gastroenterologist and Liver Transplant Surgeon with more than 39 years of professional experience. His expertise lies in Gastrointestinal Surgery (GI Surgery), GI Oncosurgery (Surgery for Cancer of the GI Tract), Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery (Surgery for Weight loss/Diabetes), Pancreatobiliary surgery, Gallbladder conditions (Stones/Polyps), hernia surgery, and abdominal wall reconstructions, among other things. He focuses on advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgeries for benign and malignant abdominal conditions, as well as weight loss and diabetes (bariatric surgery). Dr. Agrawal successfully operated on numerous patients from India and various other countries, achieving excellent outcomes. His educational qualifications started with an MBBS from Kasturba Medical Coll., Manipal, in 2013 and an MS (General Surgery) from Pramukhswami Medical Coll., Gujarat, in 2016. He further achieved a DNB (General Surgery) and DNB (Surgical Gastroenterology) from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, in 2016 He also earned an MCh (Surgical Gastroenterology) from Amrita Inst. of Medical Sciences, Kochi, 2019. Dr. Agrawal earned a Fellowship in minimal access surgery (FMAS) from the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI) in 2017, a Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery (FALS), and a Clinical Fellowship in HPB, Digestive Surgery, and Liver Transplantation from Mie Univ., Japan. He is recognized and praised by celebrities and global leaders for clinical and philanthropic efforts in providing specialized surgical care to the underprivileged. He frequently travels across India and internationally to teach and train medical students and aspiring GI and Liver Transplant surgeons.
