Dr. Alok Sharma, a well-known Orthopedic Surgeon, boasts more than 27 years of professional experience. His expertise encompasses Joint reconstructions, including Total Hip and Knee replacements (primary and revision), Acetabular reconstructions, complex polytrauma management, etc. His educational qualifications include an MBBS from the prestigious King George’s Medical Coll., Lucknow, an MS in Orthopedics from Government Medical Coll., Amritsar, and an MCh from Ninewells Hosp. & Medical School, Dundee, UK. Dr. Sharma is the recipient of many fellowships, including the AO Trauma Fellowship from Kyungpook National Univ. Hosp., South Korea, the Depuy Joint Replacement Fellowship, and the UPOA Travelling Fellowship. He was also awarded the prestigious Ian Kelly Fellowship for the best scientific research during his MCh. He is the National Faculty of AO Trauma for its Basic & Advanced courses. He is the Chairperson of the AO Trauma Advanced Course. Dr. Sharma is an acclaimed speaker at various state, national & international conferences. He has served as the Vice-President of the UP Orthopaedic Association, the Honorary Secretary & Vice-President of the Indian Medical Association, Ghaziabad, the President & Secretary of Ghaziabad Orthopaedic Club, the Executive Committee part of the Delhi & UP Orthopaedic Association, the Organising Joint Secretary of the IOACON-2011, etc. He was a leading part of the relief team of orthopedic doctors at SGTB Hosp., Govt Medical Coll., Amritsar, which visited Bhuj (Gujarat) in February 2001 after the devastation caused by the earthquake.Education
