Dr. Anil Saxena is an internationally acknowledged Interventional Cardiologist with more than 31 years of professional experience. He is an an expert in the field of cardiac arrhythmias and electrophysiology. He has extensive professional experience in implanting ICD and biventricular pacemakers in India and is considered one of the pioneers in this field. For more than 30 years, he has served as performing electrophysiological studies and radiofrequency catheter ablation for various complex cardiac arrhythmias, with thousands of successful procedures to his credit. He has served as actively involved in setting up the Department of Cardiac Electrophysiology at Fortis Escorts Heart Inst. since joining it in 1989. His educational qualifications include an MBBS (1992) and MD (1985) from Kanpur Univ. and a DNB from the National Board Of Examination (1993).Education
