Dr. Anupam Sibal is a distinguished Pediatric Gastroenterologist in South Delhi, boasting a wealth of expertise more than 33 years. His expertise spans a wide spectrum of gastrointestinal, liver, and nutrition issues in infants and children, including addressing conditions such as abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, food allergies (like Celiac disease, cow's milk allergy), inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's, ulcerative colitis), constipation, and gastrointestinal bleeding, among others. In 1997, Dr. Sibal pioneered the establishment of the first pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology service in India's private sector at Apollo Hospitals Delhi. Notably, he played a pivotal role in the inception of India's first successful liver transplant at Apollo Hospitals Delhi in 1998, leading to the Hosp.'s distinction as the busiest pediatric liver transplant program in India. His educational qualifications include an MBBS from the Univ. of Delhi in 1991 and an MD (Pediatrics) from the Univ. of Delhi in 1995. He helped establish the division of pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology, the first in the private sector in India at Apollo Hosp., Delhi 1997.
