Dr. Arvind Khurana is a well-known Medical Gastroenterologist with 40 years of rich professional experience. With specialization in various gastroenterological domains, he has performed over 1,50,000 Endoscopic procedures. Among his specialties are over 20,000 cases of EPT/CBD stone removal & Biliary Stenting. He has also performed 2000 metallic stentings and 950 foreign body removals. Dr. Khurana has placed 2000 PEGs and performed 900 PTBD procedures. He is also skilled in pediatric and neonatal endoscopy. Dr. Khurana routinely carries out over 75 Pancreaticobiliary procedures each month. He completed his MBBS from the Univ. Coll. of Medical Sciences & GTB Hosp., New Delhi, in 1984. He also holds an M.D. in Medicine from Delhi Univ. and a D.M. in Gastroenterology from G.B. Pant Hosp., DU (1991). He is recognized as a a fellow of the Royal Coll. of Physicians (F.R.C.P), Ireland. Dr. Khurana's research contributions include publications on topics like Vagal Nerve Dysfunction in patients with Corrosive Esophageal structures. He has also presented studies on Foreign Bodies of the Upper GI Tract and Caroli's Disease CT Evaluation. He is actively involved in conference organization, and he has led events like JGCON gastro vision, RGCON gastro vision, and Fortiscon gastro vision for multiple years.
