Dr. Balachandar T G is a well?recognized and leading Surgical Gastroenterologist. He brings over 52 years of professional experience in this field. His expertise lies in the management of various gastrointestinal disorders, including peptic ulcer disease, end-stage liver disease, cirrhosis, acidity, viral hepatitis, and many more. He is also well-versed in advanced surgical techniques and procedures, including upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic ultrasound, liver biopsy, and colonoscopy. Dr. Balachandar completed his MBBS in 1972 and MS in General Surgery from Government Medical Coll., Jabalpur. After this, he completed his MCh in Gastroenterology from Madras Medical Coll., Chennai, in 1995. He also received fellowship MRCS and FRCS in Austria and UK, respectively. He is an active part of the Association Of Surgeons Of India (ASI), the Indian Society Of Gastroenterology, the Indian Association Of Surgical Gastroenterology, and the Indian Association Of Gastrointestinal Endo-Surgeons (IAGES). His keen interest in research resulted in the publication of over 50 research publications in reputed national and international journals.
