Dr. Bastab Ghosh is one of the best-known and well?recognized Urologists in Kolkata. He brings over 22 years of professional experience in this field. He focuses on laparoscopic surgery, particularly in advanced procedures such as laparoscopic prostate and kidney cancer surgeries. He is skilled in major reconstructive urology and endourology techniques, including LASER prostate and stone operations, as well as urethroplasty. Dr. Ghosh completed his MBBS from Calcutta Univ. and his MS in General Surgery from Rajasthan Univ. of Health Science, Jaipur. After this, he completed his MCh in Urology from JIPMER in 2012. He received specialized advanced training in prostate cancer surgery, including robotics, during a fellowship in the USA. Further honed his skills through an observer fellowship in uro-oncology at the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Inst. in New Delhi. Dr. Ghosh has served as a featured speaker at numerous national and regional conferences hosted by urological, nephrological, and gynecological societies. He has served as invited to serve as operating faculty at various live-operative workshops. Dr. Ghosh has earned several accolades in the laparoscopic surgery category at different conferences. He was awarded the esteemed Siliguri Travel Fellowship by EZUSI in 2016.
