Dr. Deshpande V Rajakumar is a well?recognized and widely experienced Neurosurgeon He has an professional experience of more than 42 years in this field. He focuses on brain tumors and is skilled in minimal access surgeries of the brain and spine. Dr. Rajakumar is one of the few experts in performing Endoscopic Brain Tumor Removals. He was the first neurosurgeon in Bangalore to perform Pedicle Screw Fixation for Spine Injuries. He is recognized for his innovative approaches to complex surgeries, particularly using endoscopic techniques. Dr. Rajkumar completed his MBBS from J.S.S Medical Coll., Mysore in 1982 and MCh in Neuro Surgery from the National Inst. of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), in 1989. He also received a Fellowship in Skull Base surgery from Wayne State Univ., Detroit, USA. His expertise lies in minimal access surgeries of the brain and spine, with a focus on brain tumors, cerebrovascular diseases, and spine conditions. He is currently involved in developing new endoscopic approaches for brain and spine diseases. He played a significant role in establishing the Cadaver Laboratory at Harper Hosp., where he performed numerous dissections of the human skull and brain.
