Dr. Durgatosh Pandey is a well-known Surgical Oncologist with more than 21 years of professional experience. He focuses on Thoracic Cancer Surgery of the Esophagus & Lungs and GI/HPB Cancer Surgery of the Liver, Gallbladder, & Pancreas, and Robotic Surgery. Dr. Pandey has extensive international professional experience, having served as a Surgical Fellow in Hepatobiliary Surgery & Liver Transplantation in Singapore and as a Visiting Fellow in Video Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS) & Robotic Thoracic Surgery in the USA. He has held significant positions in prestigious institutions, serving as Assistant Professor (Surgical Oncology) and in charge of Thoracic & Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary service at Inst. Rotary Cancer Hosp., AIIMS, New Delhi, among others. He has 89 publications in peer-reviewed international and national journals, 23 chapters in books, and 19 abstracts. He has served as invited to several lectures, surgical videos, and presentations. Dr. Pandey is a part of the Indian Society of Oncology (ISO), the Indian Society for the Diseases of Esophagus and Stomach, and the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology. He is a founder part of the Lung Cancer Consortium Asia and the Esophageal Cancer Consortium. He also serves as a Trustee part of ICON (Indian Cooperative Oncology Network). Additionally, he contributes to academia as an External Examiner for M.Ch (Surgical Oncology) examinations at Tata Memorial Hosp., Mumbai, and as a part of the ICMR Task Force on "Review of Guidelines for Management of Lung Cancer."
