Dr. Joy Varghese is a leading and well-versed Neurosurgeon in India. With more than 26 years of professional experience in the field, he focuses on treating various neurological conditions through surgeries. His surgical expertise spans a range of procedures, including laminectomy, epilepsy surgery, peripheral neurosurgery, cerebrovascular surgery, and aortic aneurysm surgery, as well as treatments for weight loss surgery, sciatica, headaches, stroke, and foot drop. Dr. Varghese completed his MBBS from Government Medical Coll. Thrissur in 1994, followed by an MS in General Surgery from the Manipal Academy Of Higher Education, Manipal, in 2001. After this, he completed an M.Ch in Neurosurgery in 2005 from the Univ. of Mumbai. In addition to his academic qualifications, he earned an FMVS certification from the World Federation of Neurological Societies in 2010, as well as FSS and FINR qualifications. Dr. Varghese founded and served as president of the Kerala Academy of Traumatologists (KAT). He is a part of several professional organizations, including the Indian Medical Association (IMA), the Neurological Society of India, and the Chennai Neuro Club. He also holds membership in the Indian Society of Spine Surgeons and the Society of Therapeutic NeuroInterventionists, He published many research publications in reputed journals.
