She completed her DNB in General Surgery with the National Board of Examination in 1995, followed by a DNB in Plastic Surgery from the same institution in 1998. Later, she pursued a PG Diploma in Hosp. and Health Management from Indira Gandhi National Open Univ., India in 2008 Dr. Shetty gained specialization in onco-reconstruction procedures focusing on the head and neck area during her clinical and research fellowship at Tata Memorial Hosp., Mumbai. In addition, she has contributed scholarly articles while pursuing her fellowship at Tata Memorial Hosp., Mumbai.
