About Dr. M. Ragavan

Dr. M. Ragavan is a highly accomplished Paediatric Surgeon with more than 24 years of successful practice. He focuses on advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgeries for children. Dr. Ragavan has honed his skills in utilizing advanced surgical techniques for pediatric patients ranging from newborns to 14 years old. His expertise extends to various surgical procedures, including those for Cleft Lip Palate, Genitourinary Deformities, Kidney & Bladder issues, and Absence of bile duct & related concerns. Additionally, he provides treatment for neurological conditions such as Accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid in the Brain, Birth defects of the spine, Lung disorders, and Blood and lymphatic Vessel Related Disorders, among others. He completed his MBBS from Tirunelveli Medical Coll. and MS in General Surgery from The Tamil Univ., Thanjavur. Further for specialization, he completed MCh in Pediatric Surgery from AIIMS. Dr. Ragavan is actively involved in teaching and research endeavors. He has received numerous accolades, including the Best Research publication accolade from IAPS in 2013, and recognition as the Univ. Topper in both MBBS and MS, along with being named the Best Outgoing student during his MBBS studies.
