She has a special interest in laparoscopic surgery – Appendicitis / abdominal cyst Antenatal counselling surgical diagnosis in the foetus. She also offers treatment for Congenital diseases, Urinary Incontinence, Urinary Tract Infections, Urinary Tract Obstruction, Blood in urine, etc. She achieved both her MBBS and MS (General Surgery) from Punjab Univ., Chandigarh in 1977 and 1983 respectively. She also pursued her DNB-Paediatrics - DNB board, New Delhi in 1986. She is an active part of associations of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Delhi Medical Council, Indian Association of Paediatric Surgeons Life Member, Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP), Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), Voluntary Association of India, part of the IPEG (International Paediatric Endoscopy Group).
