Dr. Mitu Shrikhande is a well?recognized Pediatric Hemato-Oncologist in India, She brings over 21 years of professional experience in this field. Her clinical interests primarily revolve around Hematology, encompassing the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant hematological disorders such as leukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, anemias, sickle cell disorders, hemoglobinopathies, ITP, hemophilias, PNH, aplastic anemia, MDS, thrombophilias, and bleeding and coagulation disorders in adult patients. Dr. Mitu completed her MBBS from Karnataka Univ., India, and her MD in Medicine from the Univ. of Pune. After this, she underwent advanced training in Clinical Hematology at AIIMS, New Delhi, and later served as a Lecturer in the Department of Hematology at Seth GS Medical Coll. in Mumbai. Her advanced training in Stem Cell Transplantation was completed at the Army Hosp. in New Delhi. Dr. Shrikhande participated in research projects sponsored by the Department of Biotechnology, focusing on the role of autologous stem cells in patients with critical limb ischemia. Her keen interest in research resulted in the publication of numerous research publications in reputed national and international journals.
