Dr. Murali Manohar played a pivotal role in pioneering several groundbreaking procedures in India, including the first minimally invasive bypass surgery, the inaugural awake bypass surgery, and the initial awake valve replacement. He collaborated closely with Prof. Solomon Victor, a globally acclaimed Cardiothoracic Surgeon, during his tenure at the Heart Inst. in Chennai. Dr. Murali Manohar earned his medical degree in Davangere and pursued an MS (General Surgery) in Bangalore. Subsequently, he completed his DNB (Cardiothoracic Surgery) in Chennai under the mentorship of Dr. Solomon Victor.
