Dr. (Prof.) Narendra Nath Khanna is an eminent Interventional Cardiologist with more than 25 years of professional experience. With a remarkable record, he has performed over 9000 invasive/interventional procedures, establishing interventional cardiology services across multiple cities in India, including Varanasi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, and neighboring countries like Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam. He is a pioneer in novel techniques such as percutaneous mechanical pulmonary thrombectomy, Endovascular Treatment of Aortic Aneurysms, ischemia & gangrene of the limbs, Endovenous Laser Therapy, and below-knee interventions in India. Dr. Khanna is credited as one of the early adopters of the Radial Angiography Programme and Mobile Cath Labs. He is recognized for his outstanding contributions to Medicine (Cardiology) and community service. The Honorable Governor of UP appointed him Honorary Professor of Cardiology at LPS Inst. of Cardiology, GSVM Medical Coll., Kanpur. He received specialized advanced training in percutaneous aortic valve implantations, heart failure devices, and radio-frequency ablation for sympathetic denervation of renal arteries. After completing his MBBS from the Univ. of Lucknow in 1989, he also achieved an MD (General Medicine) from the Univ. of Lucknow in 1992 and a DM (Cardiology) from Kanpur Univ. in 1996.
