Dr. Prasun Ghosh is a well?recognized Urologist with more than 30 years of professional experience. He is deeply involved in the field of Uro-oncology, focusing on treating cancers affecting the kidneys, bladder, and prostate. His specialization encompasses robotic and laparoscopic surgeries, refined through collaborations with esteemed robotic surgeons since 2006. Dr. Ghosh has a particular focus on renal transplantation, excelling in minimally invasive techniques for graft retrieval and robotically assisted recipient surgeries. After completing his MBBS from Rabindranath Tagore Medical Coll., Udaipur, 1994, he also achieved MS (General Surgery), Rabindranath Tagore Medical Coll., Udaipur, 1997, and DNB (Urology/Genito-Urinary Surgery) from Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, 2007 He spearheaded the introduction of robotic surgery in private healthcare settings and actively contributed to the establishment of the robotic surgery program at Medanta in partnership with the Vattikuti Foundation.
