Later, he went abroad and did various fellowships and training at some of the most advanced medical institutes in the USA and UK.
Some of his fellowships are FICC - Fellow of the International College of Chiropractors, FCCP - Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, FSCAI - Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Intervention, and FESC - Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology.
Dr. Mao has contributed significantly to the field of cardiology and is an esteemed member of the Tamilnadu Medical Council.
