Dr. Samir Parikh is a well?recognized psychiatrist known for his significant contributions to mental health awareness and treatment. With more than 28 years of professional experience, he is one of the country's most well-known experts in mental health and has played a vital role in improving the perception of mental health in the country. He earned his MBBS, DPM (Psychiatry), and MD (Psychiatry) from Gujarat Univ., India, in 1996, 1998, and 2000, respectively. Dr. Parikh is the Director of the Department of Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences at Fortis National Mental Health Program, which is one of the few comprehensive multi-city, multi-centric mental health care programs in the world. The program has a team of over 80 experts at 20 centres across Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Jaipur, Amritsar, Mohali, and Ludhiana. The program's outreach has impacted an impressive 15 crore lives. He is a well-known speaker and has presented at various national and international forums on mental health.
