Dr. Sanjay Gogoi brings more than 26 years of extensive professional experience in the field of Urology. He is skilled in performing surgeries for complex cases such as urethral strictures, congenital defects, neobladders, phalloplasties, neo-vaginas, anti-incontinence procedures, and genito-urinary fistulas. He is well?recognized for his specialization in renal transplantation. Dr. Gogoi focuses on minimally invasive transplant techniques, particularly laparoscopic and robot-assisted transplantation. After completing his MBBS from Assam Medical Coll. 1984, he also achieved MS in General Surgery from Assam Medical Coll. 1993, MCh in Urology from Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Inst. of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) 1996, DNB in Genito - Urinary Surgery from National Board of Examination, 1998, and MNAMS in Urology from National Academy of Medical Sciences. He was trained in Robotic surgery at the da Vinci advanced training Center, Intuitive Surgical, California, Dr. Gogoi has performed Robotic Cancer surgeries for over six years, which included surgeries for Kidney, Bladder, Prostate, and Adrenal cancers. His proficiency extends to Robotic reconstructive procedures of kidneys, ureters, and bladder, catering to both adult and pediatric patients. Dr. Gogoi's specialization in Reconstructive urology is internationally recognized. Noteworthy for his humanitarian efforts, Dr. Gogoi has provided rehabilitation to numerous war victims with genito-urinary trauma from Sri Lanka and the Middle East.
