She did her MBBS from the Kurnool Medical Coll. and an MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Sri Venkateswara Medical Coll., Tirupati. Dr. Saroja then went to the United Kingdom and received a DFFP (Diploma of the Faculty of Family Planning) and an MRCOG from the Royal Coll. of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
