Dr. Shivanand is a well?recognized Interventional Cardiologist with more than 25 years of extensive professional experience in the field. His expertise spans various procedures, including coronary angioplasty, valvuloplasties (mitral, aortic, and pulmonary), peripheral angioplasties, pacemaker implantation, and device closure for conditions like ASD, VSD, and PDA. He possesses advanced skills in interpreting complex heart rhythm abnormalities and analyzing diagnostic tests such as Holter monitoring, TMT, 2D echocardiography, and transesophageal echocardiography. Dr. Shivanand has performed over 15,000 Cath Lab procedures, covering both diagnostic and interventional procedures, demonstrating his proficiency in this area. He completed his MBBS from Mahadevappa Rampure Medical Coll. Gulbarga in 1997, followed by a DNB in General Medicine from MR Ambedkar Coll. and Hosp. in 2001, and a DM in Cardiology from Sri Jayadeva Inst. of Cardiology Bangalore in 2007. Additionally, he has received fellowships from prestigious organizations such as the European Society of Cardiology (2015), the Society for Coronary Angiography and Interventions (2015), and the Indian Coll. of Cardiology (2016).
