Dr. Sunil Shahane is an accomplished Orthopedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon with 38 years of extensive professional experience. He has successfully performed over 4,000 orthopedic surgeries to date. His expertise lies in a wide range of orthopedic services such as arthritis and pain management, hip replacement surgery, knee replacement surgery, knee pain treatment, pelvis and acetabular fracture surgery, complex trauma surgery, revision hip and knee arthroplasty, and hand pain treatment. He also focuses on treating hip, ankle, and knee injuries. Dr. Sunil earned his MBBS and MS in Orthopedics from the Univ. of Bombay in 1986 and 1991, respectively. Later, he went to the United Kingdom and did an MCh in Orthopedics from the Univ. of Liverpool, England, in 1994. He has also completed a Fellowship in Arthritis and Joint Reconstruction Surgery under the able guidance of Dr. CS Ranawat at Lenox Hill Hosp. in New York, USA.
