Dr. Surender Kumar Dabas is a well?recognized Surgical Oncologist and Robotic Surgery Specialist. He brings over 21 years of professional experience. His expertise lies in robotic surgical procedures, including scarless head and neck cancer surgery. He focuses on the surgical treatment of colorectal, prostate, bladder, kidney, esophageal, and lung cancer. Dr. Dabas has performed over 20,000 complex cancer surgeries, including 2,500 robotic surgeries. He has completed the highest number of Head and Neck Oncosurgeries in Asia and is actively involved in teaching robotic surgery nationwide. He has performed over 1,000 Trans-oral Robotic surgeries for throat cancer and is recognized as a pioneer in Robotic Surgery. His educational qualifications include an MBBS from the Maulana Azad Medical Coll. in 2003 and an MS in General Surgery from the Lady Hardinge Medical Coll., New Delhi, in 2007. Later, Dr. Dabas specialized in surgical oncology by pursuing a DNB in Surgical Oncology from the National Board of Examination, New Delhi. He has also received specialized advanced training in robotic pancreatic surgery from the Univ. of Chicago. He serves as a global mentor for robotic oncology surgeries and has pioneered the robotic surgical oncology program in India. A prolific author, Dr. Dabas has contributed scholarly articles to domestic and international publications and is a sought-after speaker at various medical conferences. He is a part of various professional associations, such as the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO), the International Guild of Robotic & Endoscopic Head-Neck Surgeons (IGREHNS), the Delhi Medical Council, and the Foundation of Head-Neck Oncology (FHNO).
