About Dr. Tejinder Kataria

Dr. Tejinder Kataria, a well?recognized Radiation Oncologist in India, brings more than 40 years of specialization in the field. She focuses on advanced techniques such as stereotactic radiotherapy (SBRT), Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT), Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT), and 3-D Conformal Radiation (3D CRT). Her interests extend to incorporating PET-CT, MRI, SPECT, DSA, and CT-Simulator fusion for treatment planning. Dr. Kataria is credited with commissioning the latest stereotactic radiation techniques with micro multi-leaf collimation. After completing her MBBS from Himachal Pradesh Univ. in 1984, she also achieved MD (Radiotherapy) from the National Academy of Medical Sciences, India, in 1987, and her DNB (Radiotherapy) from the National Academy of Medical Sciences (India) in 1993. She played a pivotal role in establishing the Department of Radiation Oncology at Artemis Health Inst. and Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Inst.. She played a pivotal role in establishing the Division of Radiation Oncology at Medanta Cancer Inst., Gurugram. Dr. Kataria is actively engaged in research and has contributed to over 12 publications in the field. She is a part of the Indian Coll. of Radiation Oncology, Association of Medical Physicists of India, Association of Radiation Oncologists of India, Indian Society of Radiation Biology, American Society of Radiation Oncology, and European Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology.
