Dr. U Meenakshisundaram is a well?recognized neurosurgeon with 36 years of professional experience. He is popularly known for surgeries like Temporal Lobectomy, Carotid Endarterectomy, Cerebral or Brain Aneurysm Treatment, Cerebral Angioplasty, Endovascular Coiling, Surgical Clipping, and several others. After completing his MBBS from Madurai Kamaraj Univ. in 1988, he pursued an MD in General Medicine from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical Univ. in 1993. He continued to study and did a DNB in Neurology from Madras Medical Coll., Chennai, in 1997. His dedication to research in neurology is evident through his articles, case reports, and abstracts published in national and international journals. He has also been a Peer reviewer for the International Journal of Epilepsy and the International Journal of Parkinsonism and Related Disorders and on the Editorial Board of the Polish Journal of Neurology and Neurosurgery. He is an active part of the European Neurological Society, the American Academy of Neurology, the Indian Academy of Neurology, and the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society.
