She is a pioneer in Laparoscopic Hysterectomy and was a part of the prestigious team that performed the first Laparoscopic hysterectomy in India in 1990. Dr. Bhat's clinical focus includes Adolescent Gynecology, Menopausal Health, Endoscopic Management in Infertility, High-risk Pregnancy, and Minimal Invasive Surgery in Gynaecology. She is a part of the Association of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists of Delhi, the International Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (ISGE), the Indian Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (ISGE), and a Founder Member & Executive Committee part of the Delhi Gynaecological Endoscopic Society (DGES), among others.
